2 Sketches 4 you

Hi guys!

This is my card for the 2sketches4you sketch this week. One fun thing about this card: I scored lines around the main stamped image, but the fun part is how I scored it. I read on a blog somewhere (eek I cant think of where please let me know if it was you and I can give you credit!!) that if you dont have a scoring tool on your cutter (and we dont have Scor-It or Scor-Pal's in New Zealand) then you can line your paper up over the ditch where the cutter blade usually runs through to score lines. I just ran my Fiskars embossing stylus down this ditch over the paper to create the score line! SAWEET! Does that make sense?!
This card is somewhat christmassy! Wasnt quite going for that look but hey!

Have a creative day!!

This is soooo sweet! Love those flowers! Great job on the sketch, I started playing with it today, but go NOwhere! lol! It's funny you mentioned that scoring technique, because I went to a crop Saturday night and there was a make and take and the teacher showed us that tip! Never heard of it in my 6 1/2 years papercrafting! TFS!

Gorgeous card for the sketch - love the colour combo and such a beautiful image....little word of warning about your method of scoring..you will evenutally widen the channel in the trimmer and then you won't get nice cuts anymore....

This card is beautiful! I love the colors. I use my bone folder in the ditch to score. You don't have to press very hard, so it shouldn't harm the cutter.
